I’m Veronique Harmon, the director of this venture. I’m the mother of 8 great kids, and a grandma of two; I’ve been a teacher of art and science and literacy. I started out with a family home daycare back in 1985, when I had just two of my own kids and a few others daytime, and then as my own family got larger and older, I taught them school at home: reading, writing, math and everything else. Eventually I became the high school science and art teacher at our classical-homeschool coop, which was fantastic fun, and now…my kids are all grown up! So I have starting from the beginning, and calling it Harmony Cottage Playcare, because playing is the best way to learn and grow. My husband Monty is a great support; he keeps us company sometimes and adds his good humor.
